I’m lost
I call to you with tears in my eyes

I don’t need to know where we are
or where we are going
I don’t need to know the details
I can’t navigate this world

I’m Lost
I need you to take my hand
I need you to understand
I need you to be true

I don’t need to know where we have been
or how we got there
I don’t need to know the plan
I can’t decipher the game

I’m Lost
I need you to be you
I need to feel
I need to believe
But only in you

I don’t need to know why we are here
or see the map that shows us the way home
I don’t need to know the path
Or go beyond the reach of your arms

I’m Lost
I reach for you
I’m lost
but I’m not alone
I’m Lost
It’s probably better this way

I am not equipped to navigate this plane
Better to smell the flowers along the way
To lose myself in the detail of the moment
And let my destination find me
Lost
